A Great Gray Owl can be easily found along the McDavitt Rd in the am and pm hours.
Are most areas be wheelchair friendly?
Can I park close by and then get into my wheelchair and see most birds?
Many places there’s no need to leave your vehicles–the birds are close to the road. It’s sometimes nice to get out & get away from the noise of a car, so you can hear the faint calls of a Boreal Chickadee, for example. But when it’s cold, the birds come to the feeders, and they’re right by the road.
We are glad to welcome you to the 2013 Sax-Zim Bog Birding Festival event.
